First time I have run into this situation but believe it is because the camera just couldn't pick out anything to focus on with all the similar color. Let me know if you ever solve the problem.

(I have the same trouble, Snooker, with my camera. I don't know the trick to it. I just keep at it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.)

Doesn't seem to have much fragrance, punkin, but there were so many bees I wasn't going to stick my nose too close.

Patti, morris, Rob, Gladstone and Sally, I took about 5 close up photos and the camera didn't want to focus on the flowers. Maybe just too much the same and it couldn't distinguish one flower from another. This was the best of the bunch but not as clear as i would have liked. Thank you all for enjoying them.

Thanks chickie. It only seems to bloom if it rains, lyndee, and in S. TX we aren't getting much rain this year. Got about 15 min. worth last week and it started blooming a few days later.
