nice one dear Tex!
Great story, David, you should have made soup from the clothing! Thanks, David and Mimi, glad you stopped by.
Tex, you rascal, this is great. And I loved David's story, wish I could taste some of that Christmas!
When our group was on tour in Europe, one day we boarded the bus and a singer had a little bottle of local spirits called Becherovka (Czech) or Becker's (German). He told us not to say anything but just to take a taste and pass the bottle around. Then, when we had all tasted it, he asked, "What does it taste like?" Everybody, Christians, Jews and Atheists, called out "Christmas!" It tastes like Christmas. It isn't imported in the US, I don't know why. It's awfully good Christmas spirits...Years later, I brought a gift box (bottle of Becherovka and souvenir glasses) home from Poland in my luggage. When I got home and opened the suitcase, it had broken and all I had was a bag full of clothes that smelled like: Christmas!
Yes, it's all tongue in cheek.
Maybe there should be an "lol" after that last comment ...
No, it's not ...
