I totally agree. Long after someone has passed, it they were a letter writer, you can pull out a bundle of letters they sent you and reread them. Can't do that with email.
I have an aunt who refuses to go on line and still writes notes and letters after every visit. It is utterly charming to receive one in the mail; a much different experience! I do try to write in reply but admit I don't do it as often as I should. I'm told that many children aren't even being taught cursive writing in school anymore. More than a darn shame, krs2fer!
Nobody has time to write letters anymore,
I can't remember when I last got a snail mail letter.
It's like nobody cares.
It's becoming a lost art.
Darn shame, isn't it?
