AAAAWWWW! L.O.L. What a nice lady she is for handing her pin over to you like that! I'm happy for you that she passed your car too, I'm very sorry to hear about your divorce, that's always so hard to go through! I've been through two of them myself! Thanks so much my friend for explaining to me what that phrase means, I really appreciate that! I really hate not knowing what something means, it will drive me crazy until I finally find out what it is! L.O.L.

What the phrase "It's not o.k. to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests" means is that they don't want to be solicited by someone trying to sell them something, such as another business.

Monica, in Oregon, we have what's called DEQ - Department of Environmental Quality, where all cars have to go when their car registrations are renewed and have their cars checked for emissions. If you fail, you have to get it fixed or you can't get your car re-registered. There was a woman tester there who was wearing the pin. I had just gotten divorced, and begged her for it, so she gave it to me just to get rid of me. She also passed my car.

Hi there Richard, you are more than welcome, yes I noticed their adoption event on Sunday also, wish I could go to that, but my husband just flat out said NO! I guess he doesn't feel the same way about it as I do! I'd love to be able to adopt a poor homeless little doggy! Good luck to you on Monday!

mhughe69 - I found their website on the internet and the poster (and a couple others) on craigslist. They have an adoption event on Sunday so I will be contacting them on Monday. Thank you so much for the information and for posting the puzzle on Jigidi. It is so touching. Again, thank you. - Richard Lindahl, Spicer, Minn.

Ghost101- O.K. I went back to craigslist and found out the info on this poster for you if you are still interested! Call this # 702-530-9858 and ask for Brandi Foster who is Coordinator for 'Care A Lot Animal Rescue' The poster is called: Please Lord Can You Help Us. You should know that at the bottom of this said poster it says: It's not o.k. to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but there it is! I hope that I was able to help you in some way Ghost101. Good luck my friend!

Ghost101- I think what I did was when I first went to the internet I put in craigslist and then it showed the different states or cities to choose from, I then selected Henderson which is in Nevada where I live! So sorry, I guess I forgot to put that part in with the directions on how to do this! Then I clicked onto Henderson and it took me straight to their page and that's when I went down the list and found pets and clicked on that! I think that this was just an add for an animals shelter but I'll go back and look again and get back with you on the name of this said shelter to be sure! Again, I'm truly sorry for the mixup!

Octomom- HAHAHAHAHAHA! That is so funny, where did you get this pin from, I want one too! I think I will tell Gary! Tee, hee, hee!

Monica, I have a pin that's a comic strip type, and it's two women talking to one another. One says to the other, "He said it's him or the animals." In the next strip, she says, "We miss him sometimes." Tell Gary that!!!

mhughes69 - I have never used craigslist before. When I type in craigslist I get a list of cities to select the ads from that area. After a couple hours of searching and hunting I finally ran across a list that had 'pets' listed. When I clicked on it I got ads from the nearest city which is St. Cloud, Minnesota. Was this ad in a list from a certain city? What was the name of the shelter ? Was this a poster that was for sale?

mhughes69

Ghost101- All you do is type in craigslist and then when it comes up you go down their list a little on the left hand side to where it says pets, click on pets and you'll find several different adds there and some of them are from animal shelters that are like this one that I posted, you just upload them! I sure hope I was helpful in answering your question! :)))

Adrianna- Me too Adrianna, I had tears in my eyes after reading it, and wanted to go down to the nearest animal shelter and adopt a dog but Gary said no! :(((( I'm sooooo sad about that cause I really wanted to do this, my heart is set on it but I can't go against his wishes!

Octomom- That is so cool octomom, I love hearing stories like that! I've been told that soon Las Vegas will also be getting a no-kill shelter and will be doing the same exact thing as what your state does, and I am soooooo happy to hear that! It's about darn time they did this and I think every state should follow in their footsteps! Bravo to Oregon and Nevada!!!

octomom

In Oregon, there are a couple of rescue organizations that go down to California, where they have many kill shelters. They sometimes send a truck down to pick up animals, including a lot of small dogs. They get calls from people down there and are only given a couple of days' notice that they will be euthanized. If they can't send someone down to get them, the animals are indeed put down. I'm grateful to live in a state that has done so much for abandoned animals.

How do I find this on craigslist?
