Mink!

Thanks Patti, no one was more surprised than me, I thought it was a beaver swimming toward that little dam, snapped the photo and when I checked it on the camera, wow, what a shock to see a mink! thanks for stopping by!

sure seems like it. I had to google minks for photos just to be sure, the otter face is much rounder and has no masks, and not all minks have that mask around their eyes. It was quite exciting to see one, I know we have them in the area but have never seen one!

It is a big one. It's the size of an otter.
