Kostel v Tábore - Church in Tábor
Roman Catholic Church of Transfiguration of the Lord on Mount Tabor, standing on the highest point in Tabor Zizka Square, was built in the year 1440 and completed around 1512 vaulting of the nave, which was designed and conducted master Stanek from Prague's Lesser Town. After a fire in 1532 that damaged the church and the tower, the building was repaired in the Renaissance style (in 1559 established Renaissance shields). In 1622, took over the local Catholic parish. The temple is 46 m long and 26 m wide since 1958, is protected as a cultural monument. Gothic tower with a Baroque dome is 77.80 meters high (the highest in southern Bohemia) and leads to about 250 stairs.
