They probably need volunteers for their rescue centre, Lorna. My friend Cheryl volunteers at the Hart Wildlife Rescue Centre in Hampshire and she loves it - hard work, but the rewards are well worth it!

Hopefully I've created another Barn Owl Maniac - obsessives love company. Hee-hee!

I love owls and this puzzle!!!

Unlike other owls', Barn Owls' eyes resemble human eyes in some ways. People react instinctively to that, and often tend to read more into them than is really there; I know I do, even though I know better!

Jan: Henry, what deep thoughts do those beautiful eyes hide?
