Theme: Historical Places - First Marble Quarry in USA, Dorset, Vermont

Cheryl-If we don't connect via email, we plan on being at Jasper Murdock's (Norwich Inn) on Friday, August 24th about noon. We will be the 2 sipping a Fuggle or a Whistling Pig. We will look bedraggled from camping in our tent for 2 weeks. Weather is always a player in camping, but at this point, that is our plan. If you could meet us there, it would be awesome!

Biznaga and APearl - Thanks for your comments. Many people do swim in these abandoned quarries but they are very, very deep and very cold. Sometimes fear is the best choice.
