Unfortunately, none of the ones I made tonight were as good, but I'm going to keep trying! And I just realized that I recolored the background here--maybe that will make the others a bit better too!
I am soooooo glad you posted this PD. It's a really cool effect and I'm looking forward to solving others.
I like to warn the solvers, so they don't run out to an optometrist unnecessarily! Thanks, Jan--I have lots of the jpeg thingies, but this one was then given a motion blur, which makes it even fuzzier! (The one that's just the jpeg thingy is the one called "Fuzzy"). As a matter of fact, I was just working on a few more blurs right before I checked in here--the program was so slow, I figured I'd look at puzzles while it was trundling along...! Thanks!
glad you said this was fuzzy, I thought it was my eyes. How many more jped thingy do you have? Love them.
Thanks, Wendy! I really am surprised it's getting such nice comments--it's one of those that I think that only I can love!
Pat, this is WAY AWESOME!!! I just LOVE the pieces but the preview pane looks great too!
Well, I have to say I'm surprised and delighted! I was really hesitant about passing this off as a swirl--which is why I didn't even use that word in the title! I'm really happy that you both liked it, because I would love to try to make another at some point! Thanks, Kathy and whatnauts!
Well, it might be a corruption, but I'd be happy do do this type any time - I LOVED it :)))
Wow, this is very cool! As a swirl-lover, I wondered what it would be like - and the verdict is, "Great!"
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, Pat. Take care of yourself!
I know it's a corruption of the swirls you like, so I was hoping you wouldn't object! I'm glad you liked it--and that it was holding its breath as you solved it... :-D
Wow, this is super-cool. Lucky for me, I don't see the heart beat - perhaps the heart of the matter, but no beat!!!
Oh, no, don't tell whatnauts--she still hasn't recovered from the breathing blue monster, Mandy! :-D
I think I can see a heart beat!!!! I don't think its a giant squid, not enough limbs. Thanks for this, Pat.
I wasn't about to ask....
Do giant squid come in these colors, Jon? That would be cool--still scary, but cool!
That was Architeuthis scary!!
Thanks, Katie! I took the "fuzzy" puzzle, which was one of my jpeg/recolor thingies, and exploded the center a little, and then I did a very mild motion blur on it. Then I kept using the "sharpen" function, which really buzzed it up! It's not very good, but I thought it was good enough for a bit of fun!
Wow! This is a wild one! Thanks for the variation Pat!
