The Sandhill Cranes (parents & juvenile) with a friend - all looking for bugs at my back fence

You are so fortunate to get these wonderful creatures every day, Sue.

Angelbender--they live here year round. I see them nearly every day. Before the young one can fly, they walk everywhere. They drink out of my horse trough every afternoon. Once the young one can fly, they are still around here 3 or 4 times a week. Don't know what the white one is, perhaps a cattle egret or maybe an ibis. They are around a lot...if we ever get rain, they are even more active.

I LOVE these big old birds. They sure are beautiful. You're so blessed, and thanks for posting.

sue, have they visited before? Is the white bird a stork or what? That is just mind-boggling that they would come so close to houses. Lucky duck, you are.
