Thanks Cathy, I really appreciate your comments. Just being on this side of the successful surgery does give me good cause to feel cheerful. I'm tired but looking forward to the future. I'm afraid these "hotel" pics just confirm that I must be a jigidi addict - was looking for pics to share. And I do look forward to getting back and catching up with your puzzles. Kate
Hi mpilnadyful (Kate). Yes, I can see the ocean. Thank you for thinking of us and sending us these pictures! You sound very positive almost cheerful. That's great. You know we are with you in spirit. Cathy
Thanks JC, I'm working on it. I had some really nice sunsets from this window but at the time, didn't have the energy to take the pics. You'll have to imagine them.
Yes, Carole - that's the truth about aging but there are benefits too. I always think that the older I get, the more ages I have to choose from when I look out at the world through my eyes. I've been having hospital "experiences" all my life it seems. None of them really critical accept when the doctor or hospital has put my life in danger - that's really scary. But my last three hospital experiences at this hospital have been good. So, whatever the future brings - it brings. Right now I'm looking out at morning sunshine pushing rain clouds away and giving everything within my view (Point Loma and the Bay to La Jolla) that new day energy. It's a good world. Kate
Bette Davis famously said, "Aging ain't for sissies." When I was hospitalized last July, I found myself agreeing with her! The older you get, the more things start "malfunctioning." It's amazing that modern medicine is able to "patch us up" and send us out on the road again! Take care, get well! Carole
