At least you know all's well with the weather if the Pineapple Express turns up when it should and thank goodness it does else you wouldn't have all your wonderful scenery. Thanks for the info Faye...Sue
The Pineapple Express is the tropical storms that sweep up the west coast of North America from Hawaii laden with moist air. As soon as they reach our cold air they dump rain drops the size of puddles on us...depressing when it's days on end but so necessary for our wonderful lakes, streams, water table, and reservoirs. Faye :)))
It's so cold and windy as well as the snow Faye. I'm just hoping this is the final hooray before Spring. I'm intrigued 'Pineapple Express'?...Sue
Sunshine here right now...but rain was predicted for the entire week...the Pineapple Express!
....and today it's snow, snow, snow, not nearly as bad as parts of the US though. Looking at this picture I just think of summer. Thanks 48...Sue
looks very sturdy Sue - could certainly withstand some nasty winter weather as well as a little rain! Thank you for a fun puzzle!
I just love these old Kentish farmhouses. Thanks Kari...Sue
I really like this bright white house. Very pretty! Thanks Sue! :-))
I reckon that chimney is big enough to have a bench inside as well as all the cooking utensils. Nice size garden as well. I heard on the news that you've had loads more snow and floods. It's very cold here at the moment with a few flakes of snow, nothing compared. Thanks Joyce...Sue
Interesting with those buttresses. That's a very fat chimney, fat enough to use for an oven!! A lot of care keeping the grounds neat & tidy. Thanks Sue!! :)))(time, 4:57)
I think we both posted at the same time Rosemary. I do like this house and the part of Kent it's from. Sort of place you see if your out for a ride in the car on a nice sunny day. Thanks...Sue
I see what you mean kevin but I think it's authentic. I was wondering if the structures on either side of the house were buttresses as the house looks a bit wonky. The white frame work is typically Kentish. Thank...Sue
The sides sides seem to have buttresses, so it seems likely it's really old. It must have a huge fireplace! This is a beautiful setting. Thanks, Sue.
Interesting house that I suspect is older than its current appearance suggests. Could this originally have been a barn with the lower part brick and upper floor wood framed? Thanks, Sue - kevin
