Downy at the feeding station

The downy is a fairly small bird. And a favorite of many here who feed birds. We arrived back home today. We were at our son's house in North Carolina. The son and daughter-in-law whose pictures I've used for puzzles. This is a new feeding station they established. It is so nice just outside a kitchen window.

It`s beautiful, Roseheather. This downy looks a lot like our great spotted woodpecker!!! I posted another one yesterday :))

We've had downys at our feeder in the past, in Michigan, but not recently. Our most recent woodpecker at our house has been the red-bellied woodpecker.
