Indeed. I think we all need to be reminded of how good we have it; I know I do. It's easy to take things for granted.

Not sure how accurate this is, but according to globalrichlist.com, I am solidly in the top 1% of the world's population, even though from a US perspective I'm certainly not particularly rich at all. I bet this is true for a lot of people in any Western country. Perspective..

There is an old saying "I complained that I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet"....How often we forget just how fortunate we really are.
