"Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) designed a unique residential complex for wealthy Buffalo businessman Darwin D. Martin and his family between 1903-1905. The most substantial and highly developed of Frank Lloyd Wright?s Prairie houses in the Eastern United States, The Darwin D. Martin House received National Historic Landmark status in 1986. The house is considered by leading Frank Lloyd Wright scholars as one of Wright?s finest achievements of the Prairie period and, indeed, of his entire career." (Darwinmartinhouse.org)

It is located on Jewett Street in Buffalo, New York.

I noticed that Amazon.com has a book about FLW to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death. I don't have the book, but it looks like it would be a very good introduction to the man and his work. His "Fallingwater" is my favorite of his house designs.

I'll get there eventually. :-)

Nice digs, for sure! Love the wide spacious feel. Still out of the question for both of us, Pat - too much of a second floor (maybe they have an elevator?). Love doing panorama puzzles, of course when you finish the top and bottom border areas, you're mostly done! I bet you could go over there and do a better shoot! More house, less folks...
