My brother and wife motored back east to see covered bridges. I told them that we had one near by but out of the way. He used to live in this area!

That looks pretty sturdy.
There are also covered bridges in Quebec. I found a map, but none of them are close.

My Dad made us kids skis by soaking boards in water and then bending them.
Neat construction.

Nice example of an old style of woodworking. I particularly like the wagon/sleigh planks down the middle. Not only do they keep the weight of wagons from bearing on each cross plank by spreading the load, but they wear instead of the floor, and can be replaced.
