I didn't know that the tides in southern England were that significant that they would run all the way up into the bay. Maybe the walls and flats are from storms. Tim

Peter's Tower, in the foreground, is a monument to a man's wife from the 19th century. I tried to find what the derivation of this village's name, but only found it described "as from a Saxon word" It looks like a nice village. Thanks, Sue - kevin
