Hi Frank. It indeed is an Egyptian goose. We call it Nijlgans (Nile goose). I was lucky yesterday to find a couple in the park next door. It`s just a small pond and we don`t see them often here. I was able to take a few photos (see the puzzle next to this one, and I took a couple more). This was the last photo, the other one took off too :((
