Queen, good point. It is a brooch timepiece and when worn, the wearer must look down and hold the brooch flat while still fastened to his/her clothing. In order for the wearer to be able to tell the time, the clock face is upside down to the onlooker, but just right for the wearer. Hope that made a little sense., It is a lovely piece and I am so glad you enjoyed it!
