I love all your comments!! So wonderfully full of the art of quilting. Whether it you enjoyed it or not. Thanks for your stories. :0)
Jeri~ Did you get out? LOL

Not chaos at all! Look at all the signs to tell you where thing are and all the people to help the newcomer to select tools. Things unfamiliar can seem like chaos at first, but I began quilting at 55 and it was all the other quilting ladies who taught me about everything and showed me how to do everything. I started out with easy things like cutting squares and tying. Then I moved up to better things and finally to sewing special "non-squares". Quilting is pure fun and a wonderful outlet for creativity when you have help.

Reminds me of the times my Mother's side of the family (ladies) get together for a retreat. Most everyone sews or quilts and if they don't, they are scrapbooking or something else. It is a great gathering but I DON'T SEW. I'm like jeribar8 - I just feel chaos. :-)) I enjoy just sitting and visiting with the other ladies who do not sew. We meet every other month just for a meeting, lunch, and news about the family. We have been doing this for 18 years now. Once a year, we have a "retreat" for a couple of days. Thank you for sharing this painting, my friend.
