Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I've had another setback; this time with pneumonia. I was in the hospital for 3 days and now must continue with all manner of folderol to keep me breathing.. So, I'm back, but I'm reposting a puzzle that I wanted to share with you--makes me smile and hope it does the same for you. When I'm stronger, I'll try to conjure up new and improved delicacies for the puzzle pallet. In the meantime, be nice to someone, laugh, and enjoy life. Sending you more hugs, smiles and love.

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I LOVE this one, Judy, it looks so much like doodle art, Thank you so much for this post, sending you all the love, hugs and smiles you can handle.

Judy, with some people here, it's always one thing after the other, and it seems especially so with you. A year? That must have been some monster type of pneumonia. Keep your chin up as much as you can. I'm hanging in there as well. I'm waiting for a report to go to my spinal doctor for something called a dorsal column stimulator implant. If I'm lucky, it'll get approved and we'll try yet one more thing to try and help my tired aching body. Thanks for asking.

Judy, this was a delightful puzzle to put together!!! I never saw it the first time around so it was a treat to have you post it again. And look at the number of solves, 366 at this point, so you know it is a winner!!! Thank you again for a delightful and pleasurable solve and a passage of scripture that is positive medicine for all who read it!!! Hugs and a smile are on their way to greet you my dear........

HeyJudeNM

Thanks Gaillou. I'll see how things go and appreciate all of the information. I just got back from getting some bloodwork done, and I'm exhausted. I think I have a long way to go before I reach my normal energy level. Still, it was nice to get out for a bit. Talk to you later. Hugs and smiles, my friend.

Gaillou

Judy, you can choose the format you want to receive it in. I don't like getting it by email; it's too overwhelming for me. But you can choose to receive it in a chat format. There is a list of messages and you can click on the ones you want to read. I don't go there necessarily every day, but sometimes I might go more often. When I'm away or too tired, I just don't go. But it's nice to learn more about some of the Jigidiers on a more personal level. Besides Sue, there's June (Juneshone), Cheryl (VermontMeow), Barbara L., Mo (Curious Gigi) and many others. When you get better maybe you'll feel more like joining.

HeyJudeNM

Francine, well this was an easy post, since I'd already created it in the distant past. However, I just posted one I made this morning, so, yes, I must be doing somewhat better. Thanks so much for your encouragement, and I will try to recover just as speedily as possible, Hope all is well with you. I'm trying to picture you...with a big smile, of course. Hugs to my friend.

HeyJudeNM

Gaillou, I don't know if I have the energy to make puzzles, solve, comment and join the forum. It does sound nice though. Does it come through your regular email or can you visit a site when you want to join in? Thanks for letting me know; I really appreciate it.

bookish

Judy, I'm another one wishing you my best wishes for a speedy recovery. It's wonderful to see you posting again. You haven't lost your touch' they're lovely.

Gaillou

Root beer floats are wonderful! But I haven't had any soda for many years. I do allow myself one root beer float a year. My general health is quite good. I'm done with PT until my ankle heals, but continue to do the leg and arm exercises at home. I'm lucky that my hubby takes good care of me since I can't get to the kitchen or laundry. Have you ever thought of joining the Jigidi forum? We chat about all kinds of things. Check it out under FAQ below. Sue1 is the moderator.

HeyJudeNM

Gail, I saw my primary care physician yesterday, and she said it could take me as long as a year to completely clear my lungs. It turns out the antibiotic has a side effect that is very unpleasant: it is making my joints ache like crazy. Thankfully that will only last another 2 weeks or so. It's true. Getting old is definitely not for sissies. How are you doing physically, or should I even ask? I believe there are many more with problems here, so let''s get our mind off that stuff and party!! What should we do this time?I know, rootbeer floats, or something similar. Is that right?

HeyJudeNM

Gaillou, I do hope your body stays strong with your PT, since you are undergoing your present rehab, but both knees will require you to be in the best of shape in order to weather it well. I will be praying and hope you find comfort, peace and contentment in the Word during this time. Anyone who can come through after pushing through the exercises is a hero in my book. Keep smiling, my friend!

octomom

Judy, I can only offer you my best wishes for a speedy recovery. I know that pneumonia is no fun, especially for someone like you with an already-compromised body. Take it slowly and hopefully you'll recover in no time. Gail.

Gaillou

Thank you for your prayers, Judy. I do appreciate them. My PT as suggested I may want to do both knees at once since they are already so painful. I'll talk to my surgeon about it once I have rehabbed my ankle. I won't be weight bearing on it until almost Thanksgiving, so I'm looking at February or March for the knee surgery. I'm looking forward to being pain free but understand that the knee replacement surgery and rehab it painful.
Gail

HeyJudeNM

Willy, you are so very kind. I hope you and Monique enjoy your outdoor activities immensely while the weather is good. Thank you for your extremely encouraging words, and I'll try very hard to get better. You are such a sweet man, and it's an honor to know you. Hugs to both of you.

HeyJudeNM

Gaillou, I'm praying for your ankle, but it looks like you need continual prayer as you go through the future surgeries. Are you having both knees done at the same time? My late husband did his that way, and I admired the strength he had to persevere. It was a real challenge! I do hope annd pray this will make a huge improvement on your quality of life. Please keep me posted! In the meantime, let's enjoy our time on Jigidi. Hugs and prayers.

HeyJudeNM

Carpetfresh, I did something to my database where I keep track of people's names on Jigidi. My memory is poor at times, so could you let me know if you told me your name? I thought we had a conversation about your username, but I don't remember that either. Can you once again fill me in?

I'm so glad you liked the verse I shared; it has kept me sane through many of magor trials in life. I'm glad my puzzle touched your heart. I hope I can develop a new puzzle in the coming days. We'll see. I hope to hear from you again and wish you a God-filled day.

HeyJudeNM

Kirsten, I want to thank you for your encouragement; I know I will beat this; it just takes work and patience. In the meantime, I'll hang out with you guys. Not bad at all! Glad you liked this puzzle from long ago and I hope you are enjoying life to the fullest measure, my friend. Hugs!

HeyJudeNM

Kossamu, I feel like I'm beginning to know you, and I do appreciate what you had to say. God is great no matter how we feel, and He loves us in ways too deep for words. I feel safe knowing He is there. I appreciate your prayers so very much and thank you for your support. God bless you! Hugs.

HeyJudeNM

Joy60, thanks so much for contacting me. I'm so glad you liked the verse, and I appreciate prayer more than anything when going through trials. It is such an encouragement that you are willing to do so and very pleasing to the Lord. May your day be blessed. Big hugs, Judy

Thanks, Judy. This is one surgery in a series of 4. In March I had surgery to stabilize my right ankle. In 2016 I'll have each knee replaced. The goal is to be able to walk distances (more than the few yards I managed before) without pain.

Good morning Judy, I hope you are doing better. Love the reference to Philippians 4:13. Your puzzle warms the heart and makes me smile. Take care and prayers for you.

RandomWorship

Gaillou, I will be praying your ankle heals quickly without any setbacks. Be very careful, please. Hugs to each of you.

whatnauts

These hearts and flowers are lovely, Judy - just like you!! I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care. Hugs :))))

Gaillou

Prayers for a complete recovery, Judy. I had surgery on Aug. 12 on my left ankle. But mine was a surgery I chose to do and pneumonia is a debilitating illness. I love this puzzle. It is so cheerful. And your scripture reference is inspirational. What would I do without my faith and personal relationship with our Lord.

myladydanes
