So impressive!!!

Thanks friends. I hope you also read the other comments. The way Phyllis tells is the same for NL. And Tek I think that will be the reason for it. Yes indeed it looks like floating pipes. Beautiful.☺

Queenbee2b

I agree with Brian, the popes do seem to float in the air!! Thank you Ank, for showing us!! :)

goosed

Spectacular, the organ pipes seem to be floating!!

cilycoed

Awesome pipes Ank! We used to see these sort of seats/boxes in old churches. Usually the richer families, Lord of the Manor type person or family had a box up the front. Everyone knew where they belonged. I'm so glad things have changed in churches these days. Having said that, this is a lovely church, the idea od closing the door in winter is indeed a wise one.

Thanks Ank hugs xx

I like the angle of this photo!

Stunning! Fabulous! I love it. jan42ful, I think in America in the 1700's the churches there had closed pews. I idea was to take a portable heater, sit in the pew, close the door and keep your feet warm. No heat in the church in winter.

jan42ful

WOW! That is a fabulous looking organ, Ank. I have never seen those sort of closed in church pews before. Thanks and hugs, Janet

Hi friends, I tried to find more info about the orgen, but I could not. All I know is that it's built by Bakker & Timmenga. Indeed you don't see often that there are doors at the end of the seats. But it looks nice☺

cevas

Great interior view. I agree with Lia. The organ is very fancy!!

Lia

This church still has seats (bankjes) with doors at the end! I haven't seen that for a long time!
And a very nice organ, it even looks a bit 'Baroc'! whereas this church interior is very plain.
Thanks for the pictures
