Jan has it so right...it does look like burnt velvet! What a wonderful observation. (Bexter has a burnt velvet scarf so, of course, I had to get it out to compare... It's popular again with the younger set... lol I do really wish that I had kept some of my old clothes. Who knew then that we could sell it as "retro" now? ;-D)

Francine - I truly have no idea how you manage to keep coming up with such stunning puzzles! This one reminds me of cut-out velvet. Do you know what I am referring to? It is just so gorgeous that I don's have the right words for it. I can see that the cutouts mirror each other and that just adds to the fun! Thank you so much.
