Thank your Jan - what a fun, creative comment. So glad you like the avatar too, and the composition! I like your suggestion of apple halves with hearts, but I think your monkeys / bears look more like critters... :-)

This is a beautiful composition. What I first thought of, after admiring the lovely rose, was the yellow areas were apple halves with hearts and all of this ways layered over lovely rose blossoms.

But the brown shapes on the edges look like either monkeys or bears! LOL!

Hi PJ, this is beautifully composed! I love how you put the rose in the middle of a kaleido design and laid the whole thing on lace. It's wonderful!
