I made these kaleidoscopes from freely available images of silk hand fans. I use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, recolour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. Each collage takes around 2 hours to make.

It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. :-)

Oh, you are so right there, Dagmar There is NEVER enough time. But it sounds like you are going to have a lovely week-end, even though you are not spending all of it at the mountains. Have fun! :)))

There is just always not enough time, as I told Ardy at my place there are and there aren't mountains this weekend. I have to spend Sunday going up and having a look if everything is all right and water the few plants that need water at this time of the year - some of them are on the kitchen terrace and others are at places where the rain doesn't reach them and they need some water even in winter. Tomorrow I hopefully I will have a little time on Jigidi in the morning but after lunch we are off to my youngest nephews birthday party. :))
Now you know more than you ever wanted to know about my weekend, LOL, but it is nice chatting with you life, I'm here at my Friday nightly Spain and you at your Saturday morning in Melbourne. :))
Have a great day. :))

Yup - I'm up and about, Dagmar. I get up so early 6 days a week, I can never sleep-in on my day off. And I'm partly keeping an eye on what's happening here, and partly making some kaleidos for today's puzzle. So far, I'm struggling to get the colour range I need, so I may need to change tack soon! Can't afford to spend my limited time not achieving my outcome. Oooh, a little work-speak slipped in there. LOL. Sleep well, and I look forward to seeing you about Jigidi this week-end. I guess that means no mountains. Selfishly, I'm happy that it means we'll see more of you. But for you, I wish you were heading there for the peace and relaxation it affords. Nighty night. :)))

I just see that you are already up and about so I just want to wish you a good morning. :)) I'll leave the solving of these beauties for my morning, as at eleven o'clock at night I wouldn't be able to really enjoy them.
Sorry to hear that you won't get your whole day of Jigidi, but I suppose that's quite normal, during the week lots of things are put off until the weekend.
Have a wonderful day and see you at my tomorrow your tonight. :))

I think that's a VERY respectable time, Ardy! Well done you. And I can see that the yellow one would be a bit harder. The pattern is not as pronounced. And I hope to have a good Jigidi day too. A little solving, but mostly making!! And I'll have to be very efficient at it, as I have to go out this afternoon and run some errands. So I don't have a full day. Drats!!! ((HUGS))

29:11 Kirsten. 3 minutes off the board. That's got to be my best time yet. What slowed me down was the center yellow section. It was also the last one I did but I still couldn't see the pattern. They are all so lovely. Thanks, Kirsten. Hot out of the kaleido oven was great last night and cooled off is great too. I loved having you visit my place last night. ((HUGS)) for your Jigidi Day. See you tonight.
