Thanks, Molly. I have searched out your other puzzles and they are all so beautiful. I wish I had your talent for painting. I guess we all have different interests and talents--and that's what makes life so interesting. I'm sorry to hear that you have been ill, but I'm so glad you're feeling better. Continue to improve and I will absolutely be watching for your posts. Sherry
Hi Sherry - My trouble is that I have far too many projects already and shouldn't be spending so much time on the computer! I taught myself how to do decorative painting from magazines. I haven't done it in a while because my health has been bad, but now that I'm feeling a little better I am getting interested in getting my painting skills back again.
I'll keep posting various items, including crochet so check back once in a while.

Maybeso, here is the information on a very good book on Crochet. I know you will like it because there are hundreds of step-by-step pictures to illustrate exactly how each stitch should look. It starts with the basics and takes you through to the more advanced projects and techniques.
"Teach Yourself Visually Crochet" by Cecily Keim and Kim P. Werker
ISBN number 978-0-470-87997-9
I would also suggest you use Susan Bates brand crochet hooks. I find they slip through the yarn much easier than Boye brand or any others.
You can buy both the book and hooks on Amazon. Good luck!! Sherry
Maybeso, isn't it gorgeous? I have not tried it yet. I've been working most of the year making scarves to donate to the shelters here. I think I will have to give Bavarian a try. Really, crochet isn't that difficult--I bought a book and a crochet hook and taught myself to crochet. Give it a try! You can do it, too!! Sherry
