Mandy, I never heard of an arousal jag, but I do know the meaning of jag. I figure that you would know the meaning of jag. :-)
I love your use of the word "jag". I remember years ago when I was learning a bit of psychology I was taught about something called an "arousal jag" - it caused some hilarity in the classroom, but I never forgot its importance... something you do to jolt yourself out of a mindset in order to revitalise the mind - this puzzle serves that purpose brilliantly... thanks Wendy :~)
Magda, you misunderstand! I was laughing at the fact that you didn't trust my ARITHMETIC AID puzzle. Obviously that puzzle was not meant to help (aid) anyone with math. It was someone else who thought you might be talking about Aids (the illness). I would never laugh at that.
May I once more mention that" aids" business. It took me quite long, til the penny dropped. I kept asking myself, why you found my comment so funny. To my excuse I would like to mention, that the illness in French is called SIDA. That is maybe why it did not occur to me at once, what I had written. But if you had a good laugh at my expense, all the better! I hope it has improved your health, as laughter is the best medicine! In future, I will be more careful what I write. So and that is the end to that. Sorry once again. Apparently my English is not as good as I believe.
