Good Morning Thought

Fran I know just what you mean. Unfortunately in this country it is going to get worse. Some of the health care law took affect this year, but it will be full blown next year. And you know people here are used to being able to get into see the doctor right away. But you and I know that will change. Like I told my kids I'm so glad I am the age I am... I just got a text from my DIL the GD has 2 rabbits and mommy rabbit had 3 little ones today so now they have 5. I told her yum rabbit stew...

Pat, hope so too. Our health system also suffers, not that that's any consolation.

Fran I hope she has no after effects from this..... When they did the MRI the Doctors said the infection had started going into the inter part of the brain. She had called her family Doctor on Tuesday and they couldn't get her in until Friday. Then this happened....

Here is and update. To start off she first thought she had an ear infection. That turned out to be a sinus infection. The Doctors at the hospital (and there was several) told her with all the test and the MRI she has Bell Palsy. She has paralysis on the left side of her face and today it showed a little on the right side. They told her with the infection she has that it took her inumue system down so far that is triggered the virus in bell palsy. When she went to the EMG they couldn't rule out a stroke because she does take blood pressure meds. And the blood pressure was pretty high. I want to thank all you for you prayers as she will need them as she recovers. The Neuroligist told her recovery time could be as long as six months and sometimes they never recover 100%. So it is a wait and see situation... Thanks to everyone... Love you all...

Morris, I will pray for your daughter in law, she will have a tough road ahead but she is still young that is a bonus.

KateEE O.I.C.U. they will know for sure today after the MRI. How severe don't know yet except it envolves the face mostly... Thanks I was just telling my daughter you never know from one day to another when you get my age but this is way too young..

Did I get it? Which answer was right? And I'm so sorry about your DIL. How severe was the stroke? It seems worse when it happens to someone so young. I'll pray for her.
