Stanley Park looking at Burrard Inlet

Hi Suzy. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that ! Yes, it is a busy port with freighters, cruise ships, tugboats, fishing boats, pleasure crafts, harbour patrol boats and, of course, the seabus chugging back and forth across the inlet. During the 2010 Winter Olympics we had a beautiful tall ship from Russia docked at a pier in North Van.

Well, my, oh my. I know I posted a comment about the "traffic" in the background. Must have neglected to hit "post".

Hi JC. Yes, there are always lots of freighters. On New Year's Eve at midnight all the ships in the harbour sound their horns again and again.

I have never seen that many ships coming and going at one time! Looks like a real busy port!

Across the inlet you can see part of West Vancouver (district).
