John, I did experience that effect to an extent today. I curtailed the activity greatly - lots of football watching and some good napping!

Isn't that great I could get in so quickly? The doc asked when I was ready, I said ASAP - they looked at his calendar and worked me in. I was his 5th op of the day. He is very highly regarded, so I was comfortable with the arrangement! I start PT on Tuesday.

I'm glad the op went so well, Kate. I hope you still feel good today. I know from my own experience that you can feel very good and then it hits you. Hope that's not the case for you. When I came around after my last big op I was convinced that I hadn't had the surgery!! LOL They didn't take long getting in for your surgery. :-)))

GREAT NEWS!!!!!

Thanks all!! Sailed through the op, doc is a good one! Said it was a good thing I went ahead with the surgery now, the tear was fairly significant. The amazing thing is I feel quite good, am already able to get around without a lot of difficulty. They say pain-wise tomorrow will probably be some worse but the pain meds are on hand so I'll get through that. I have crutches but for moving within small areas they aren't essential, the operated leg (left) will already bear a little weight. Very grateful for medical professionals and technologies! And especially for good warm thoughts and prayers from family and friends; I never sweated a thing! So thank you all so much!!! :-)))

Awww! I'm tired too ... I saw the orthopedist yesterday and I do need surgery. It's very easy day surgery and I'll only be on crutches a couple of days. Looking forward to getting through this thing and off the pain meds!!
