Why are you reporting this puzzle?

In those days I just mowed the lawn and watered the plants, all the other gardening was my hubby's passion!

Impie

LOL Rebecca I won't tell him, although he sometimes acts like a frog when there's one in the garden while he chases him:))

You're welcome Pammi:) You're right, he was always busy and loved every minute of it, we did and I still do enjoy the garden very much. It's a lovely sunny garden to sit and spend time in,however Goofie isn't really a "lap"cat:))) The view over the garden from inside is also nice even now with the "winter"view!

Pammi

Hi Impie, thank you for this lovely picture. Yes, you are right, I can see that your garden was a labour of love for your husband. It looks so inviting and I can just imagine you sitting at the little round table in the lovely spring sunshine and quietly enjoying the beautiful surroundings (possibly with Goofie on your lap?). Thank you once again.

RebeccaB

Don't tell Goofie I mistook a frog for him! :)) It's always been my understanding that the definition of a garden is that it's never the same, from season to season or year to year. In fact, sometimes "volunteer plants" (seeds that blow in, etc.) become the highlight for a while. :)

Impie

Of course I took another look to see what you meant Rebecca and now I can see where you're coming from .... this is a statue of a brownish frog! ...but I'm glad you did enjoy the tour though, LOL.
BTW the tall purple flowers are Allium which I probably have "killed" with my "weeding" skills and of course also some plants that aren't there anymore have died of natural causes!:))

RebeccaB

Well, I worked the puzzle and then enlarged it as much as it would go, and had a look around, so yes, I was serious. But now that I look again, I guess it might be a strip of cement or stone, and something else that looks like his darker fur color, and the round shape of a cat's back when sitting. They say we see what we want to see, LOL. It was a lovely tour, anyway!

Impie

Rebecca you're joking right?:)) because I hate to disappoint you... I'm positive he wouldn't be in the garden when my hubby took this photo. Only just since 2006 Goofie was "trained" enough to be solo in the garden being watched from inside! :))

Thanks Marilyn he sure did......!:)

canoekaw

He kept a beautiful garden.

RebeccaB

I think I found him! In the grass all the way at the back on the right, to the right of the tall purple flowers, sitting with his back to the camera and behind a light? :))

My parents always helped in my gardens when they visited, and shared ideas. They're gone now, and I miss them most when trying to manage my yard myself.

Impie

Thank you soo...I had a peek at your garden and it's lovely. Remember the bigger your garden... the more maintenance!:))

Rebecca....none of the greenery of neighbours give me less sun. In summer my garden is gets sun from early morning till 7.30 pm!!♥
Re "where's Goofie?" I cannot recall whether he was in the garden then!:)))

Thanks gemstone....yeah spring!!!:)))

Ja schutkleur er hebben al heel wat metamorfoses plaatsgehad, en nee ik heb geen gras meer, hoewel er nog soms een polletje opkomt waar je het niet zou willen, maar dat is alles!:)))

Impie

Hi siberian....when my hubby got ill and couldn't do much gardening, we cut back on plants and removed the grass...but when I took over completely I often didn't know what were weeds or not so I seem to have removed plants that I actually shouldn't have, but my hubby forgave me:)) He was glad I maintained his pride and joy! (or what's left of it). I can handle it the way it is now and I try to see it through his eyes when he watch me from his cloud above!

schutkleur

Gezellige tuin Impie! Je hebt nu helemaal geen gras meer toch??

gemstone

It is lovely, Impie...ah, spring. :)))

RebeccaB

Is this a "Where's Goofie?" puzzle? (Like "Where's Waldo?") LOL

RebeccaB

I like how your neighbor's greenery tops the fence, even though that means you get less sun!

soo

That is one beautiful garden Impie I'm so jealous, we only have a small garden but I do my best. I will look for some old photos for you to see :))

siberian

Your garden is just beautiful…Keep it up ! It's a wonderful therapy !
I work a lot in the garden… my hubby has memory problem …
so, when I get frustrated, I dig, plant ,weed… It help a lot! and you have Goofie, and I have Monsieur Chat :)))))
