This Is What Birders Do!

Actually I don't know these people! I was with a friend, and had been looking into this area where these birders are looking when I decided to take this photo. There were lots of people out that day.

It looks like an active birding group you have joined up with. Nice you have others who share the enthusiasm. It must make your outings very enjoyable.

Thank you for asking, Beekay! We saw seventeen species of warblers--they stop there to fuel up before crossing Lake Erie to their breeding grounds--and lots of other nice birds--a bald eagle on a nest, an Eastern screech owl, American woodcock, Grey-cheeked thrush, the list goes on! It's hard to get photos of warblers since they don't sit still, so I took a photo of people instead! When I lived in CA, I volunteered every week with the Audubon Society a a wildlife sanctuary. I moved to Ohio in October and we go birding often!
