Sunset #3, view from my front door

Thanks Cathy, it was all the same sunset. A few minutes between the photos. I agree it was beautiful.

Thanks friends. My view is to the South and in this time of the year, sunrise is South-East and sunset is South-West. So this view is S-W. In the morning I have the Sunrise now. But that view is not so beautiful because of the school building is in the way. I will show you a picture tomorrow, but that's not so beautiful.

Ank, shepherds and sailors would agree with you. To paraphrase an old "saying" about the weather: "Red at night, sailor's delight. Red in the morning, sailor take warning ". (But I still can't help delighting in any such gloriously painted sky! )

I had a "huh?" moment Jan, until I gave my head a shake and thought..."Oh ya, mountains". Well, you may not be able to enjoy the sun rising from the east of them BUT you have MOUNTAINS!! Some of us envy you for that! The grass is always greener, my friend...

Went back and looked at the 3 pictures and it is very evident how it is getting brighter. Lovely.

I think it would be wonderful to live where you could enjoy BOTH the sunrise and the sunset! What a luxury for the eyes that would be!!

Yes Hanne, and I don't know what I like more, sunrise, a new start of a day, or sunset, the end of the day. I think sunset is often more spectacular.
