I just posted a puzzle of my flowers in full daylight.
Evening primrose flower opens in the evening and the is open only 24 hours. Then in the evening closes. Do you have the other similar flowers in the photo?
I have some of these, but they are open all day and close in the evening, so they can't be Evening Primrose. Any ideas?
Beautiful evening primrose with one bee
Nice photo, Aggie. Two bees in one day!
Thanks Adriana. Do you have any?
I thinkin holland we cal it WEDERIK
Thanks Mimi and Suzy - the flowers are rather small Mimi, he does look like he's enjoying it
Great puzzle Aggie. That bee looks enormous, are the flowers tiny?
Pretty, bright plants. No wonder the bees are happy~
Thanks warbler, glad you liked it and roseheather too - they are so bright you can see them from quite a distance and they do tend to multiply which is fine with me!
Lovely. They looked very familiar and I had to do a search because these look like something I saw one summer which would open in the evening in a very short time, sort of like a time-lapse photo but speeded up for the TV generation. And yes, there are some of these which do just that.
A match made in heaven! I haven't seen sundrops in a long time, Aggie. Thanks.
Thanks chickie - these flowers just add so much to the garden- so bright.
These are pretty and I am glad you are getting bees.
