Thanks for the tip Phyllis. I bought the wisteria from a garden centre in Maidstone so not too far away. I'm not lucky with plants but I'm going to get my Readers Digest on Gardens out and have a read up. I will definitely put this place on the list. I bet it beautiful in the Spring...Sue
Love it, put it on the list please. I have a white Wisteria, it grows on a tree on the front fence, I'd like to take credit for it, but someone else planted it. It faces west and the soil is a bit heavy. Perhaps they need protection from frosts and strong winds when young, like most saplings. One thing I have learned is to obtain plants from the area that you live in. I have made some expense purchases and lost the tree as they came from outside our area.
I love the Wisteria growing up the building. I wish I could grow one up our trellis, what's the secret...Sue
very pretty and very well kept
