Hey thanks Jacques, sounds good.
Glad you see it now Hanne.
PPM I plugged in belgian frangipane in google and all sorts of good recipes appear.
You can have both PKH.
Thanks PK and Nancy.
Yes lajuin, must have been...........!
New to me - like Jacques only knew the dessert.
It looks very happy! Am sure it was the kindly words.
Beautiful Jenny thanks for posting Robbie you two are a good pair.
I would gladly accept the plant OR the fine almond dessert!
it's FRANGIPAN Plumpossum
When I google "frangipani" all I get is Plumeria. Since my plumeria bears no resemblance to yours, I would like to chant the incantation you used to encourage mine to shape up. Would you please oblige?
I've always wondered what it looked like, now you just show me!! Thanks so very much Robbie!
whith almonds friend, someday when you visit my country i'll make one for you and Jenny, and you may ride the porsche!
Belgian custard tart flavoured with almonds or pistachios? Is that the one Jacques? I like yours better! Thanks mate.
Hi Celeste, yes it is, thanks.
That is a big plant..:) Nice lookin. Thanks Robbie
a frangipani is a cake in Belgium Robbie
Thanks fodus, love your fresh peas!
Yes chickie, pick individually but Jenny says they will not last long either way.
Thanks a lot 0829, liked your Andy Griffith puzzle.
Hi Carole, I enjoyed your story, thanks.
Hi Sindy, thanks from Jenny.
I was polite in the beginning Lela, grew slowly. One rainy morning I bumped into it and got wet.......I threatenedit and VOILA!!!!
Tex you're right, but then I would be soaked all the time and late for making parents' dinner!
I bet if you'd played Pink Floyd it would be twice as big! Thanks, Robbie, it's very pretty.
Wow Robbie that's a beauty!
When you talked to it, did you use gentle, coaxing words, or threats?.......jus' wonderin'....
Good job, Jenny!!! :D
We had a little vacation house on Galveston Bay in Texas, subject to hurricanes, so I know what it means to have to put stuff back together again and to deal with the never-ending rust and decay! We just called it "Popeye Land" and loved it as it was! Your Frangipani is a lovely specimen. Carole
Beautiful. Hope the Hurricane doesn't hit your area. Good luck. Stay safe.
Beautiful Robbie! Can each of the single flowers be picked & put in vase or will they wilt if you don't take the whole stem? Just curious.
I love the scent.
Last year this time this plant was ravaged by a hurricane. Then the winter storms had their turn. It was a pile of sticks just higher than the bird bath. Jenny nursed it and I talked to it, now it looks pretty good........until the next hurricane!
