Sandy I like this puzzle, but I love the story of Tex. Great Tex, a thing you never forget. This kind of memories keep you young. I would I had been there, I should enjoy you, and I'm sure Suzy should do too.
Thanks Sandy and Tex
It was hilarious! I drove the tractor and my nephew the combine, and that combine was almost as wide as Main Street. Another favorite thing to do that we got into so much trouble for was at the end of Main Street, we'd act like we were going to make a U-turn only do a full circle a couple times. Drove the cops nuts.
How fun morris. I love harvest and really miss it when I helped the neighbor up north.
And TS, you were a little stinker! Bet it was fun while it lasted.
At least I can see the beans here! Thanks, Mamahen!
Morris, when I was growing up, my family sold farm equipment. One year when we were in high school, the folks were out of town and my nephew and I went to the shop and got out a huge tractor and a combine and drove them down Main Street in that little town! We thought we were so cool, having our own parade, till the cops got us! They scared us half to death telling us they were taking us to jail. They really did, but just to City Hall while they called our parents! We got into sooo much trouble! To this day, every time I see a combine I think of that.
One year I was fortunate enough to help a friend pick crops. 1 weekend was beans, 1 was corn. I felt like the King of the world driving that combine. It was a lot of fun.
