Is that the Curvesball Puzzle you are referring to? I like it better than rectangles, so using that for a reference, it won't do as well as plain rectangles!!!
I made another type of "plain" one tonight--an oval with curved lines going from side to side, two or so of them crossing. Kind of basic--though not as plain as the recs, since the curves are not all the same--with "blocks" of color. I like it better than the recs, though--more "designy"! LOL! But we'll see--I may make another version with added figures for that, too... :-)))))
Looks like you're right - the plain version did much better. I've said it before - I just don't get it. But then I don't need to understand it!! I'm always happy for you when one of your puzzles does extremely well, whether it's my style or not :))))))
Well, you're still floating along on the breeze, intact, whatnauts! LOL!
I think I wrote, when I posted the plain ones, that I didn't think they were much of a design, and that I hadn't intended to post them, just use them as the base for this puzzle. But then I did post the plain ones, and they did so well, as we discussed! Now I'm curious about how well this fancier version will do in comparison--I think it's got more design to it, but my bet is that the final numbers will favor the plain one. In any case, I'm glad I posted both versions! :-)))
