The steep roof is because the cabin is so small. In order to get enough height on the second floor to be able to use it, you have to have a fairly steep pitch. Note that even with that, and by the time you allow for the ridge and the rafters, there's substantially less 2nd-floor headroom than on the first floor.
And that Crape Myrtle tree on the side might be a signal of hot weather, Annjax. That's about the only thing that blooms and grows here during our brutal hot summers. Thanks, Cel, I could live there too!
Oh, I like this. Could use a few of those trees in the yard, though. Needs some shade. With that steep roof I'm thinking Snow Country---but, then, look at the porch roof. Mystery............
I could so live there. :) looks cute cozy comfy
It certainly could be homey, I think, and I love the pretty yard. Thanks, Mary & Laura.
Shot,I think I could live in that,I don't require anything too fancy. Thanks TS,I love it.
Neat as a pin and with a sweet little garden. Thanks, tex.
My pleasure, Sis!
I bet it is, too, Sis! And it does look well taken care of. Thanks!
Thank you, Warbler, I bet the view is beautiful.
Great cabin! It makes me wonder what the view from the porch would be like! Thanks Texas.
Wouldn't this be a nice little getaway? Looks lived in though, with all the flowers. Thanks, Mcsmokes, Angel, Patti, Patty & Chickie! (Sounds like a song.)
Isn't that cute? I wouldn't mind having that down by the woods.
Could be a ranger's house, or a forest service cabin.
Wow, someone loves it and takes care of it! Nice to see that! Thanks, TS!
Neat is the word. Could it be a "Mother-in-law's" house? I wouldn't mind living there, tex. :-))
