You lucky thing! I would sooo love to do that!
Spent my birthday in 2009 wandering among them in California. Most magnificent things you can imagine.
Awesome - great perspective! Thanks for sharing.
gnt: That's amazing, gnt! Standing right next to one of these trees does it really make you feel small? I do hope I can see this forest someday too...kittenlove: I agree, they are magnificent even in photos. Tex: LOL If you're right, with such a huge beanstalk you could get right to the doors of Heaven, like gnt said :)yuplynn: thanks for the link, yuplynn! I see there are a few scattered sequoias in Romania also (but they're smaller and much younger than the ones in US) I will surely go see one of them this year ;)robryan: And appreciate the greatness of nature! You are most welcome, robryan!Thank you all for dropping by with your nice comments! :)
Superb!! Kind of makes you feel small!! Thanks bloorox.
There are forests in Germany too. Sequoias (also known as Redwoods) are growing all over the world as you can see on this website. I planted one in my backyard (after careful consideration because I want it to be there 200 years from now...) here in Minnesota, USA.http://www.giant-sequoia.com/gallery/europe/germany/Thanks for the picture.
I think this guy is Jack and his beanstalk got a wee bit out of control! Nice puzzle, Bloorox. Thanks.
I have never been there either, but still hoping to visit the West coast. The trees are truly magnificent.
Nice pic....I have been to see the giant trees back in 1994 and what a sight it is....never could imagine a tree so huge and so tall, u would think they touched heaven LOL
I think it would be quite frightening, well for me anyway:-)
I think these trees only grow in US. I would absolutely LOVE to see this forrest before I die! The feeling must be something unique.
Wow what a giant, I have never seen anything like it! Thanks bloorox:-)
