Yuck! We have so much in our food chain that's harmful. Here's one more example, in the name of bigger profits. It's so sad. Thanks, LJ.
One of our local farms grows the best corn on the planet....no chemicals. You may get a corn bore now and then, but it's not a huge deal.
Above your waist? That's huge compared with ours. Ours is only a few inches high.
LJ our corn is above your waist today. I hope we get more rain so it is good this year. Last year it was plowed back into the ground.
I looked like a bug, morris. Organic for me, please, Robyn.
LOL! Why Morris :)))Unless farmers go Organic not much will change Laura!!
Wish i had a picture of you, with the mask on!!
Thank you very much, naner, lovey, lyndee, Pat, morris and patsquire. No, lovey, I don't know what the chemicals are or what they're for. I need to pick up a copy of Farming for Dummies. Morris, I sat on the front porch with a gas mask on. I wonder if he got the point :o))) Well, that's an intersting point of view, patsquire. Thanks for commenting! Lyndee...right you are.
Hate to see this Laura, but it's that or have wormy corn.
My sister, a Scientologist, once told me that chemicals are destroying the world. I reminded her that she is made of 100% chemicals, so am I, so is the grass we're standing on, and so is all the rest of the whole wide wonderful world.
Just try not to breath to much of it in, Laura!
Probably something to make them grow fast....
Do you know what chemical they're sprayng lauraj?
Great puzzle. Love watching the crops grow.
