That's a shame . . . I really thought the dwarp would help . . . sorry.
Picture 2 on it's way . . .
Mike Nesmith.....one of The Monkees
Hugh Jackman? I got that from the dwarped picture.
Ida Know...even with the dwarped photo
Oops. I just looked at the picture and Robin Williams immediately came to mind, but ladywil beat me to it.
From just looking at the warped image, those extended cheeks put me in mind of Quagmire in Family Guy, who is said to resemble... Bob Hope?
Sorry but the dwarp one doesn't remind me of anyone. But will guess
Sorry folks, still not right . . . :D)
Have you all checked out Ant's 'dwarp' on . . .
As I said before it is very similar to the original photo
Yes, sara...the eyes. :)
Unusually, each time I try to unravel this image it ends up reminding me of someone completely different. Here are the latest:
Mr Bean....probably too obvious....just as Jay Leno is too... anyway...
Jack Lemmon, Colin Firth?
LOL you lot . . . thanks for the comments and guesses . . . what a pity none of the names put forward are correct . . . :D)
Ant . . . don't underestimate your 'de-warp' . . . when you see the original photo you will notice there is a very strong resemblance to the 'cauli-flower ears' image you came up with . . . you just got the name wrong . . . lol
Catch you later . . . :D)
A young Richard Harris?
One more idea: Kelsey Grammer?
Whoa this one will be pure shots in the dark
Harry Connick Jr?
Wow, Froggie! You really twisted this one up! His face is shaped like a penguin foot.
John Cleese.......just because! LOL
Well it wasn't that good bookish, seeing as how it was wrong and all! :^D
This pic reminds me very much of a young Peter Bowles, a British actor but probably not well enough known this side of the pond.
I'll go with Bill Murray.
Ant, I had to laugh. Kevin Spacey as the center part of a flower. It does look like him though. That's one good un-warpping job.
Hehe, I've learned to ignore those 'ears' on my de-warping efforts. :^)
I try hard to pull each face into a generic human form, so as to avoid deliberately turning it into someone I WANT it to be, but I think sometimes my subconscious mind leads me down that path anyway. I guess the mouth shape on this one looked so much like Spacey's, I ended up absent-mindedly shaping the rest of the face into his... vaguely. :^)
Aaaanyway... I have a new guess now... Patrick Stewart?
lol . . . thanks for the image Ant . . . it cracked me up as it reminded me of a mouse with those 'ears' . . . :D)
BTW I have not 'dumbed down' the first pictures in the games . . . I am a lazy little "B" and intend to use up the games that are already prepared without changes . . . :D)
That's actually a relief. I didn't want to be accusing you of making the #1 picture too easy! :^)
For anyone who's interested, this was the image that emerged after a relatively small amount of pixel dragging...
Ooops, sorry about that . . . wrong head on . . . lol.
Let me re-iterate thate . . . "Sorry Ant . . . back to the de-warping board for you . . . ;D)"
Sorry Ant . . . back to the de-warping board for you . . . ;D)
Well if you insist Froggy... Kevin Spacey?
Don't hang back Ant . . . c'mon give us the name . . . :D)
In my first attempt at de-warping a very familiar face emerged almost immediately. It may not be correct of course, but I will hold back on posting it to give others a chance. I will post my a link to my un-warped picture if the name I have in mind is suggested by another... :^)
Not just a puzzle, but a game as well. See if you can guess who the celebrity is. The face has been distorted and will be made clearer until a correct guess is given or I run out of photos . . . in which case I WIN!!! LOL
I hope to update the pictures at around 1pm and 10pm each day (UK time) and I will pop in from time to time to check on progress . . . have fun
Please feel free to make as many guesses as you want but if you are making multiple guesses at the same time could you please combine them to a single comment. This makes it easier for others to read through them and, more importantly, makes it easier for me to compile the incorrect list . . . thank you . . . :D)
