@ Texasstar: Not too sure if it can be done at all. I think the cotton may slide off before it freezes.
@ Pdevredis: Give it a try and let us know if it works and how long it took you to 'decorate' the car :-)
I didn't mean to sound like a party-pooper! I was just saying that I'd been unlikely to take all the time needed to do this, knowing how easily and quickly it could be undone! I can't believe they even did the antenna!
Oh, PD is just too damn smart! This would be a really funny prank, and harmless enough. I bet it would be harder to get them off unless you waited till they got warm. Too funny.
@ pdevredis: okay, you may do the smarty pants dance :-) I do bet people would stare at you though. But you're right, clean the windows and the lights and off you go :-) Maybe you should then put some light in the balls. Knight Rider.
@ Mpilnadyful: I take it I'm the bear :-(
pd - you're just so much more logical than the average bear - thank goodness!!!! Still, I bet come Halloween here in the States (those parts that get cold) there will be tons of cotton balls purchased -- and placed.
Well, it really would take much longer to put them on, I think! After all, to drive, you just have to remove the ones on the glass areas, like windows and headlights. And starting the car and letting it run enough to warm up would probably make that very easy. I'm sure the others on the body of the car will fall off quickly on a warm car once you start driving..... So this is a prank I won't be pulling! Funny, though! :-)))
You don't make it on your own car, Sissel, that goes without saying. Just make this work of art on your neighbour's car and then watch from behind the curtain when he leaves for work. Ewwww, that's bad.
Thanks for your comment,s Jawz, Treker and Robryan. I think sticking the balls to the car takes as long as removing them. Or you can wait till spring. Then the problem is solved too. Sure hope I haven't planted the seed of an idea in your head. You all be good, you hear me :-)
Hmmm, well, the car isn't damaged for sure, but it will take ages before the driver can hit the road. As long as it isn't my car, be my guest, Treker :-)
