Perfection!

I bet you can make a bunch of Fig Newtons and sell them at the store or on the street with your fig stand.

Oh possum, too bad you live far away! I would come over for some of your fig delights!

Plumpossum

Thanks, LJ! I think I'll try the Fig Bread recipe, and since I have plenty of oranges, the Fig Ambrosia sounds delightful! I already have a potful of figs cooked up for jam - - just have to finish the job!

I wish all of you were closer! They are ripening faster than I can process them. Does anyone know a really good way to use figs? (It would be nice if it could be frozen!)

laurajane

I will have one, possum! Thanks!!

Watch out, plumpossum, you may just find me in the branches of your fig tree!! But I think it's a little warm in your area for me. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to the summer heat. :)

warbler

They're gorgeous in that blue bowl, Plum, I wish I was closer!!

Plumpossum

Come on up, spudmum! If I eat very many more, I might never be able to eat a fig again!

potatomum66

I don't think they'd ever make it into fig preserves at my house. I know they come all at once, but I think I can eat almost as fast as I can pick!

Plumpossum

Do you have a good recipe, zzup?

Fig preserves. Yum!
