I was lyricising figuratively, Dear One. Either that or I can't count :-) Or I made it up as I went along. All off the cuff with no counting! Ad libitum :-)
I knew it, I just knew it! You DID make new lyrics! Believe it or not. ... probably not..., I figured them all out except for " six walls of bricks"... I hit a wall on that one.... and "nine lines of lattice"... I could only find seven. All in all it is a welcome addition to Christmas pageants everywhere!
On the Twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...
Twelve twinkly white stars, Eleven rays of gradient, Ten rows of squigglies, Nine lines of lattice, Eight purplish patterns, Seven worms of gold, Six walls of bricks, Five Easter eggies (So it's a bit early, OK!) Four turquoise ring things, Three rays of white to blue light, Two two legged purple octopusses and A violet ring in a purple square!
Terrific fun and great images. I enjoyed the solve also! You have rewritten the Twelve Days of Christmas. Not sure of some of the things my true love gave to me, T!....... :-)
Thanks, Shirley. The Apophysis part was too small to have enough clarity for it's own stage so I popped it into a little box. We still can buy bags of mixed lollies here. Tom used to love them - he always was a big kid loving his lollies :-)
Love the mixed bag, very interesting patterns, the Apophysis would make a great puzzle on it's own Chrissie, Thanks :):) Love the title, reminds me of when I was very young, going to the shop and asking for a mixed bag of lollies. :)
