I couldn't recall 3 'Rods' Faye so I checked in my folders and could only find 2 . . . this and the one in his Speedos and a tartan scarf. . . :D)
(The bikini shot was actually Russell Brand)

gemstone

Congrats, Antagony. This is what (?) the third time we've had Rod...but at least this beats that awful bikini picture! LOL

Antagony

Thanks Heidi. I must admit most of my attempts to unwarp the earlier images ended up looking like someone from the first Elizabethan era! :^D

Heidihopes

Congrats Antagony! I couldn't see anyone past the 19th century on this one

Antagony

I love gravely voices too--hence my fondness for Rod. I'm glad to hear you have no long-term problems other than losing your singing voice--it must have been terrifying having surgery like that when you were so young. I dread to think what would happen if I lost my own singing voice... the local cats would have to find somewhere else to congregate of an evening! :^D

Trouble_and_Frog

I always enjoyed that raucous gravelly tone to his voice but as you say Ant he 'lost it' after throat surgery and now there is just no power there. As I said . . . I have something in common . . . I too had surgery on my vocal chords but in my late 20s, since which time I have been unable to sing and my 'speaking' voice can sound somewhat husky these days . . . it has definitely dropped in pitch, but, other than that, no long term problems . . . :D)

JiggyBelle

Oh, Of course it is! I see it now, completely. He's even in "that" pose!
Wonderful guess Antagony! Congratulations! Happy Dance time!!

And Froggy - - Some aspects of his voice have ALWAYS been way past the sell by date! But, you gotta love him...there is just something about that raspy voice. He is an iconic character, for sure!

Antagony

No, he's never really recovered his voice after that vocal chord nodule he got when he had thyroid cancer a few years ago. I think he would have been better off retiring from performing after that, rather than making the bland mush he strains to push out now. He's in danger of spoiling an otherwise great legacy.

Trouble_and_Frog

lol . . . I'm not sure whether to applaud him or pity him with his latest album (The Christmas album) . . . his voice is way past it's sell by date. I've just realised I have something in common with Rod Stewart . . . ;D)

Antagony

Finally... I guessed a singer/performer that I actually like! Well his old stuff, anyway. :^D

Trouble_and_Frog

***** ROD STEWART *****

Well done Ant(agony) . . . :D)
Congratulations also to Roberta . . . you were right to back Ant . . . you just backed the wrong guess . . . :D)

Sorry I didn't log in sooner to start another game but here it comes now . . . :D)

to make the pieces bigger you would have to choose to have less pieces in a puzzle , though you can zoom in to have them bigger. The advice I got about having more pieces was to be patient as they are working on some new stuff I got more pieces myself by going back to photoshop and making the puzzles bigger. This could result in an unsharp image but they were fine

Angela Lansbury

saraco

BTW, I made my S Tyler guess after looking at so many photos of him and comparing them to the game picture, that I lost track of time! But, I came to the conclusion that it could be him.......it's 2am now and I'm going to bed!! Later Dudes and Dudettes

justjoan

Thanks for all the feedback on puzzle size. I guess I just need to use a bigger picture.

saraco

here's a wild guess....because the person looks like he has a feather in his hair (on the left).

Steven Tyler

Surreal_Heidi

Actually, I don't have a clue. Tho' it does look like he has sideburns and a comb-over.

Surreal_Heidi

Phil Collins?
Tom Hanks?

gabecyr

I'm sort of favoring Albert Finney as Scrooge at this point.

roberta64

I think Antagony's right with Robert Vaughn.

saraco

Clint Eastwood
Sean Connery
John Cleese
Susan Boyle

George C Scott?

Antagony

Another thought... Robert Vaughn

Antagony

Thank you Kirsten. Ant is one of the kinder names I get called in real life, so I'm happy for you or anyone else here to call me that. :^)

RandomWorship

Oh, no. You actually explained my useless ramble! So thanks, Antagony!! And call me Kirsten. :)))

Antagony

Sorry Randomworship, I didn't spot your earlier post... I should have refreshed my browser before adding my two-penneth. :^)

RandomWorship

I think that's what I was trying to say, Antagony! Thanks for the proper explanation as to why image size affects piece size. :)))

Antagony

Justjoan, the pieces are sized proportionally as a fraction of the image's overall size. So, say your image is 1000 x 1000 pixels and you choose 100 (10 x 10) pieces, each piece will be 100 x 100 pixels.

gabecyr

I can see that, Sara.....Susan before makeup and her new 'do'

ladywil

When I create a puzzle, I chose the pieces, like 63. But if I want the pieces larger, then I would use a lower number, like 35 or even lower

RandomWorship

Justjoan, I'm no expert on that, but I think it has something to do with the actual image size, and the file size. Unless someone actually knows, I suggest emailing Magnus and Stefan. They are really happy to help with questions. June Shone contacted them recently about a sizing issue, and they were able to advise her what to do straight away! You can get them on contact@jigidi.com

to make the pieces bigger, you click on the + sign upper right corner

Scrooge

justjoan

I have a question. How do you make the pieces of the puzzles your creating bigger?

Helen Mirren

Antagony

Rod Stewart?

gabecyr

Here's a go at it.... Richard Kind
Tom Wilkinson
Jack Elam ...or
Rowan Atkinson...?

Bob Hope

tigress

Beethoven?

pdevredis

Phil Collins?

Trouble_and_Frog

Not just a puzzle, but a game as well. See if you can guess who the celebrity is. The face has been distorted and will be made clearer until a correct guess is given or I run out of photos . . . in which case I WIN!!! LOL

I hope to update the pictures at around 1pm and 10pm each day (UK time) and I will pop in from time to time to check on progress . . . have fun

Please feel free to make as many guesses as you want but if you are making multiple guesses at the same time could you please combine them to a single comment. This makes it easier for others to read through them and, more importantly, makes it easier for me to compile the incorrect list . . . thank you . . . :D)
