I highly recommend a visit. Looking at the castle from the garden you might think it was a French Ch√Ęteau. I think this is one of the more attractive Scottish castles not the dark granite types. Thank you eb and 48...Sue

A friend visited a few years back and this is a highly recommended stop to any anyone planning to go to Scotland. I heard there is a resident falconer that puts on quite a show, and that there were HUGE 'dinosaur' rhubarb plants as well. Thank you Sue - the castle itself is stunning with all the spires.

Looks like a wonderful place to check out the changing styles of turrets - it seems to have most of them.

You must, I've been to Scotland 3 times and want to go back. I mentioned on the other picture that I have been to this castle and I remember this large courtyard and lots of people milling around. The view across the loch was spectacular. Thank you Denise...Sue

So different from other castles that I have seen. I have always wanted to do Scotland.
