OMGoodness pilley~This title is the exact same words that a fellow mod said to me in owl chat just the other day. Are you that person? Or do you have no idea what I am talking about?
Whichever it is, that is a fantabulous sunset ~ Thanks for jigging it
Thanks for the information. We were road tripping through Idaho for 2 weeks in August. Your photo looked very familiar, since that was how the majority of sunsets looked. Can't get the wood smell out of the tent, nor the shock of seeing just how bad these wildfires can be, out of my head. Hope there's an early snow.
MC and NPS; thanks for dropping in. This was taken 9-17-12 out my camper door. We are at Henry's Lake which is 25 miles south of West Yellowstone on the Idaho/Montana boarder. The multi-fires are from Idaho, Montana, Wyoming; we have an inversion layer and no rain for about 2 months. Some of these fires will burn until we get snow............
...but WHERE ???
smoke only beginning to dissipate here...has been a long hot smokey summer
Where did you take this picture?
