To top it off, Lorna, last night we had a Nor'easter with three inches of snow! The weather here is getting more and more bizarre as the years go by . . .

Jan - I was wondering how you are but also worrying how you were, as I realised you were in Sandy's firing line! Must have been grim to be without power for so long, but glad you are ok.

Lorna, I live in an area that was hard-hit by Hurricane Sandy. I had no power for six days!

Hi Jan, good to see you back on jigidi - I have been wondering how you are. Glad you like the view from George's field! I was cross today; I took the dogs up there, and saw 2 deer really close, and a fox. And I hadn't got my camera!
