Dear Wendy - your title is fitting to your puzzle - as my PDB fits my puzzle :-))) The psychological testing value of your title is interesting .... PJ
PJ, are you then telling me that you think your title is better than mine? Then I'm tempted to call this one "Painted Darling Bouquet." hehehe I'm glad you found something nice about this puzzle after all. ;-)
Wendy - in response to "painted darling bouquet, or my title?" - Yes, I like the first, and Yes, I find your title interesting, catching, philosophical, and intriguing in a phycological way. And honestly, the more I looked at the puzzle, I found more beautiful details of color combinations and special fun design effects. PJ
Diane, I like that. You "sent" a comment. LOL I also love your "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle." I'm Wendy from PA....so we're neighbors. :-)
Mandy, I could have brightened up the inside to get more solves, but I really like it the way it is, plus I like the title as is....even though I don't think it fits (I think it's beautiful when looking at the pieces).
Considering you stacked the odds against it with your title, it's done pretty well Wendy!! I actually prefer the shapes in this, and I reckon if the browns and greys in the square were changed to brighter colours... like the purples and reds on the inside, the swan will emerge. :~) Just thinking aloud really...
Mandy, but that's what I thought looked so much like yours (the sharks' teeth)! And I see that you now can appreciate what I saw in my puzzle. I knew it wouldn't do well but I think it's beautiful up close and personal.
PJ, which do you really like? Your painted darling bouquet, or my title? LOL ;-)
whatnauts, it was soaking wet, but I dried it out and this was the result. :-)
It's an ugly duckling... On solving, this puzzle is actually stunningly beautiful, the variety and detail of the colours in the central ring is gorgeous. Thanks Wendy :~)
Ok - Wendy - the title did attratct my attention. When I saw it was yours - I took one more look, and the design looked so interesting that I wanted to solve it. The solving was so nice and smooth that I even made your board - for a few minutes :-) Intersting experiment. PJ
Yikes, it reminds me of sharks' teeth... did this one eat a ring of bells? Thanks Wendy, I'll be back to solve it later, I lost my internet for most of the afternoon, and need to catch up!
ROTFLMAO, Pat! You are so right- I hadn't thought of that- it really does sound like the title of one of Clint Eastwood's movies. Now here's the thing though- I have noticed time and time again that when someone puts a word like "Beautiful" or "Lovely" in their title, they get more solves than they would have otherwise. So just for kicks, I thought it would be fun to see what happens with my title instead.
Love the come-hither title--how could anyone resist?......! It sounds like something Clint Eastwood starred in during his spaghetti western phase! :-)))
Edie, it's the puzzle! Check out Mandy's "Colour Roulette" comments to see how I came up with the name. LOL http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=2SVF2NGE
